Role Overview
The Business Development Director will lead BKMP’s commercial and growth activities, with a strong focus on natural gas and diesel generator sets, data centre power solutions and marine/industrial engine packages. You will work closely with Semeru Teknik and our partners to expand our customer base across Singapore and the wider region.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies for generator and power solutions, including 2 MW natural gas data centre gensets.
- Identify and pursue new project opportunities, channels and strategic partnerships.
- Manage and grow relationships with key customers, consultants and contractors.
- Work with technical teams to prepare proposals, quotations and tender submissions.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to support management decisions.
Requirements
- Proven experience in business development or sales leadership, preferably in power generation, marine or industrial equipment sectors.
- Strong network with data centre operators, industrial clients or marine/offshore customers is an advantage.
- Comfortable working independently and coordinating with overseas teams and principals.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Based in Singapore and able to travel when required.
